Brian and Kirsten Land, owners of Land Enterprises Roofing, will be our speakers in September. They will speak about their focus on building the client experience to be the best, not the biggest.
About Brian and Kirsten Land
Brian and Kirsten Land are the owners of Land Enterprises Roofing. Brian Land started roofing on his 17th birthday. When he turned 19 and was a college student, his then roofing boss helped him start his own roofing company so his boss could return his attention to his home building business.
Brian graduated from Oklahoma State University with an undergraduate degree in Business Management. Kirsten graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Education. She was a special education teacher for 12 years working for Oklahoma City Public Schools and then Edmond Public Schools. Kirsten left the teaching profession in 2008 to focus on being a mother to their first child. About 6 months later, she started working alongside Brian at the recommendation of their business coach. They have been working together successfully ever since. They have been married for 19 years and have two boys, Daniel (10) and Evan (8).
About Land Enterprises Roofing
Land Enterprises was started in 1986 by Brian Land. Last year the Land team celebrated their 30th anniversary. They are a General Contractor that performs residential, commercial, and roof maintenance services for customers all over the 405 area code. They hold many certificates with various manufactures including GAF, Atlas, Certainteed, Tamko, and Marlarkey. These certificates enable them to provide a better warranty for their clients and use best practices when installing the roof system.
In 2016, Land Enterprises was a finalist for “Small Business of the Year” from the Edmond Chamber and winner of “New Member of the Year” from the Northwest Chamber. They are a six-time Angie’s List Super Service Award winner and are the 2017 Edmond Sun Sunshine Award winner for “Best Roofing”.
Brian along with two other employees are HAAG Engineering Certified, which ensures they can effectively and efficiently assess roof damage. Their team was also trained by the IBHS (Insurance Institute for Business and Home Safety) for the Fortified Home and can offer a Bronze Certification for homeowners whose roof system qualifies. The Fortified Home program strengthens homes from hurricanes, high winds, hail, and thunderstorms. They installed the very first Fortified Roof system for a home built by Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity.
Brian and Kirsten along with their team strive to be the best and therefore focus much of their energy and attention on training in multiple areas to provide a quality service for their clients. One client compared our service to that of a “concierge service” when replacing his roof after a hail storm. “That compliment best summarizes our goal every day with every customer,” says Kirsten.
