He brings many years of experience in a variety of technology related industries, leading teams in providing technical solutions that respond to critical customer needs. Davis has integrated those customer centric values into his IT business and as a result the company has received “Best of Business” and “Outstanding Achievement” awards, earned the CompTIA MSP Partners Trustmark and was named “Franchise of the Year” for 2013 by TeamLogic IT. The company culture is defined by its Mission Statement: “To help our fellow employees and clients be successful”.
Davis earned a BS in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Virginia Military Institute and an MBA in Management from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. Prior to starting his own business, Davis held executive positions in the medical electronics and professional sound equipment industries; most recently as president of Altec Lansing Corporation here in Oklahoma City and as Managing Director of the Klark Technic Group in Kidderminster, England. During his corporate career he lived in 14 US states and has traveled to 31 foreign countries.
He serves on the Board of Directors of the Northwest Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce as its past chairman and is a member of the Cyber Security/Net Tech advisory committee of the Francis Tuttle Technology Center. He and his wife of 48 years, Barbara, are active members of the First United Methodist Church of Yukon where they serve on the Administrative Council. Davis also serves there as Audio/Visual director and Barbara as vice president of the United Methodist Women. They live in Piedmont and enjoy spending time with their 5 grandchildren.
The company has experienced double digit growth in revenues each year since its opening in 2007 and continues to add state-of-the art products and services to its portfolio in order to meet the increasingly challenging information technology needs of its clients. He attributes this success to being blessed with a strong team that follows a clear strategy, using a set of standard operating procedures and processes that they, themselves developed. “I provide the roadmap and they drive the bus,” Merrey says.
