Miles, is Founder and President of H&H Shooting Sports in Oklahoma City. Established in 1981 as H&H Gun Range, the Range has evolved into a community educational and retail complex for developing and promoting the shooting sports, and it is to the people of Oklahoma that they dedicate their business.
The current facility located at I-40 & Meridian is 90,000 square foot area, housing 61 shooting lanes for Olympic Air Rifle and Pistol, Standard Pistol, High Power Rifle, Archery and the “4U Caf & Catering ” has been added to the business.
Recently he has overseen the expansion of an ever-growing Retail Store to round out the very successful operation. He was a founding member and serves as Past President of the National Association of Shooting Ranges, A founding member of the National Association of Firearm Retailers, Past board member of the National Shooting Sports Foundation and was named “2004 Retailer of the Year” by Shot Business Magazine.
In that same year they were selected for the first Shooting Industry Academy of Excellence “Citizenship Award”. H&H was also selected for the first “Range of the Year” honor in 2006. H&H is considered the trendsetter, or industry leader in the shooting sports community.
Inc Magazine has selected H&H as one of the fastest growing privately held business in the United States for the last five years and is the only gun dealer ever in that list for four of those years.
He has been married to Jayne for over 32 years with three children and seven grand children. The Halls have also hosted over 22 international students in their home. Along with his family they attend Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Edmond. H&H is among the nations largest indoor ranges and retail centers for the shooting sports.
H&H does easily over a hundred public TV / Radio and Newspaper interviews each year helping with safety and general education of gun related topics.
Although H&H is located in Oklahoma City their Guest base is from all over the state. In fact they have sold a gun to someone in all 77 counties of the state and some of those counties are several hours away.
The make up of the guest base is roughly as follows: 53 / 47 male to female, most are married, with some college, upper middle income, and although ages are at both ends the majority are in the mid 30s.
The design of the facility is not at all like a typical gun store and as a result the majority of the guests that visit are new shooters that are why they have had such a monumental growth over the years. It is not too much of a stretch to state that H&H with its influence and business philosophy has kept the anti gun sentiment to a minimal in the State.
H&H web site has a million hits a month. They also have a forum, Blog, Facebook and Wikipedia page.
H&H has close to 100 team members, is open 81 hours a week and served almost half a million folks last year.
H&H stands for Hers & His because Jayne can still out shoot Miles.
