Justin Mecklenburg, owner and CEO of NeoInsulation, will be our speaker in January. Justin and his COO David Morris will share the story of NeoInsulation and how they have guided its remarkable growth.
About Justin Mecklenburg
Before bringing his vision to NeoInsulation, Justin was a partner and Chief Financial Officer of a flowback/well testing business. With the help of his leadership, the company grew from $0 to over $125 million in revenue in less than six years – an achievement that made it possible to orchestrate the sale of the business to a publicly traded company in June 2014. In December 2015, he then executed the buy-back of the business, which was then packaged and sold again in April 2016 to a large private equity group.
Prior to his experience in the oil and gas industry, Justin worked in finance for Smith Barney/Morgan Stanley as First Vice President – Investments. During his 12-year tenure there, he was the lead partner for a team that managed more than $150 million in assets.
In 2007, he created his own private wealth management company – Mecklenburg Capital Management (MCM) – which has served as his advisory firm and investing platform. In 2013, the retail wealth management business of MCM was sold to UBS Investment Bank, one of the largest financial institutions in the world.
Before he entered the finance industry, Justin served as an accountant for Deloitte and Touché, where he specialized in auditing financial institutions.
Justin graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and minor in Finance. He currently resides in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, with his wife and three children. He is an active member of LifeWay Church of Kingfisher, which he co-founded in 2010.
